Global Payouts

Merit's creators get paid once a source actually verifies — that part doesn't change. What's new is the currency: pay in EURC instead of USDC, live on Arc today, or convert treasury surplus at a market-made rate through Circle's StableFX exchange.

Direct EURC payouts

EURC is a real, Circle-issued stablecoin, natively deployed on Arc — not wrapped, not bridged. A creator who opts in gets paid in EURC through the same memo-wrapped transfer every Merit payout uses, converted at the live ECB reference rate (published free by the Frankfurter API), recorded with the exact rate and source used.

StableFX treasury conversion

Circle's real Arc-native RFQ exchange for USDC↔EURC — competitive market-maker rates, settled on-chain via the FxEscrow contract with Permit2. The full taker flow (quote → trade → sign → settle) is wired end-to-end against Circle's documented API. It needs one thing only Circle hands out directly: an API key from a Circle representative — there's no self-serve signup for this product.
