Works for any site/CMS (no feed, no MetaMask gauntlet, no editing XML). The wallet is receive-only — Merit never holds a key.

Step 2 — claim it

Why no one can fake it: Merit's badge resolves against the deterministic verifier + on-chain settlement — a reader or crawling agent re-checks it. A self-report agent's citation is one LLM saying it cited you, so any site could claim that badge and no one could verify it. Yours is unforgeable precisely because of the verifier they lack.

If agents cited you before you set a wallet, Merit held your USDC in custody. Prove your domain (publish the merit.json above), then withdraw it on-chain to the wallet that file declares.
